The Evolution of Leadership: How Cristiana Carpini is Redefining Success at Tara Home Consulting
The corporate world is witnessing a significant shift toward gender-neutral leadership, with companies increasingly recognizing the importance of diversity and emotional intelligence at the executive level. Women leaders, in particular, are bringing a powerful sense of transformation, navigating challenges with confidence, resilience, and an infectious enthusiasm. One such trailblazer is Cristiana Carpini, the dynamic CEO of Tara Home Consulting.
Driving Tara Home Consulting to New Heights
As the CEO, Cristiana Carpini plays a pivotal role in steering Tara Home Consulting toward its vision—helping clients optimize their operations and strategies for success. Her dedication and outstanding leadership have not gone unnoticed, earning her a well-deserved spot among The Most Emerging Women CEOs of 2025.
From Humble Beginnings to Global Success
Cristiana’s journey is deeply rooted in her multicultural upbringing in the breathtaking Tuscan countryside. Born to a German father and a half-French-Swiss mother, she grew up immersed in literature, music, and thought-provoking discussions. Her family, especially her grandmother, instilled in her a deep sense of resilience and adaptability.
Initially hesitant about higher education, Cristiana pursued a language major at university, a path that ultimately led her to win a scholarship in the UK. She attended Warwick University, where she earned a degree in economics. Tragically, after losing her parents, she worked multiple jobs in hotels and bars to support herself through school.
Her linguistic skills opened doors to an unexpected opportunity—working on cruise ships. Over five years, she honed her expertise in public relations, problem-solving, and managing a multi-ethnic workforce. Eventually, she transitioned into consultancy, merging her passion for real estate with her economic acumen and diverse professional experiences.
The Road to Tara Home Consulting
Cristiana’s journey was anything but conventional. While studying, she took on various side jobs, including a stint at Disneyland Paris as an animator and receptionist. Her career took off in the cruise industry, where she advanced from front desk staff to department manager, handling critical issues 24/7 for months at a time.
Her exceptional multilingual skills and efficiency caught the attention of a guest, leading to a job offer with Interhome in Florence. This opportunity reunited her with her fiancé in Genoa. Despite relocation challenges, she earned her real estate license and later thrived in a commercial role at Novasol.
During the pandemic, Cristiana’s expertise became a lifeline for struggling businesses. She began offering free online consultations, which quickly gained traction through word-of-mouth. Inspired by a friend who designed a logo for her budding business, she formalized her consultancy in 2020. By 2023, after successfully transforming Happy.rentals into a multinational company, she established Tara Home Consulting in Lugano, with a marketing team based in Paris.
The CEO’s Perspective
When asked about her role as CEO, Cristiana shared, “I personally conduct audits for property managers and guide CEOs through their growth journey. The initial choices are always the hardest.” She added, “I develop business plans that help companies recognize their potential, oversee contract negotiations, and personally train our Tara consultants.”
She attributes much of her success to her dedicated team, particularly Marco Cangemi, Chief Marketing Officer, and her right-hand strategist, Arianna Tomelleri, Vice President of Tara Home.
Beyond Business: A Legacy of Impact
Cristiana Carpini is not just about turning companies around; she is redefining the consulting landscape. After rescuing her previous company from financial distress and propelling it to international success, her reputation skyrocketed. Property managers and holiday home owners now seek her expertise to scale efficiently without excessive costs.
Tara Home Consulting distinguishes itself by embedding deeply into client operations. Cristiana works closely with CEOs, reorganizing roles, identifying staffing needs, and implementing training programs. The firm also incorporates mental coaching, helping leaders and teams navigate the pressures of rapid expansion.
In addition, Tara Home Consulting has made significant strides in event management. The firm secures accommodations for global events and plays a vital role in organizing Scale Italia, Italy’s premier industry event. This international initiative, led by Damian Sheridan and Gianpaolo Vairo, is meticulously planned by Cristiana’s team—including Arianna, Marco, Tiziana (Marketing Italy), and Adriano (Scale Marketing)—ensuring flawless execution from venue selection to speaker coordination.
A Glimpse into Cristiana’s World
Beyond her corporate endeavors, Cristiana leads an exceptionally balanced and healthy lifestyle. She starts her day with a 5 a.m. walk with her dog, followed by intense gym sessions, and winds down in the evenings with meditation. An avid traveler, she enjoys reading, hiking, and attending rock and roll concerts.
Though she and her husband do not have children, she cherishes quality time with him while deeply admiring the working mothers in her circle, including Arianna and her twins. Despite her demanding career, Cristiana prioritizes personal time—especially hiking, which serves as her rare sanctuary from the digital world.
Cristiana Carpini’s journey is a testament to resilience, innovation, and the power of embracing change. As she continues to shape the future of Tara Home Consulting, she stands as a beacon of inspiration for aspiring leaders worldwide.
